Nourish Your Body with Massage

My specialty:

Massage for those with chronic illness, advanced illness and at the end-of-life. I serve the Hot Springs Village and Bryant areas of Arkansas.

I see clients in Bryant one day per week for those who want to travel and receive massage in a studio setting with regular massage table, etc.  For those not able to travel, I will come to you – whether in home, care facility or hospital. I no longer travel with a massage table because I have perfected the method of providing massage wherever the patient is – hospital bed, recliner, wheelchair, etc.

I believe that to heal, the body must rest. My goal during every massage is to nourish the body and provide deep relaxation. I use gentle massage strokes as well as access acupressure and reflexology points.

Questions? Consultations are always free. Please reach out.

MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE (MLD)

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is designed to help the body increase lymphatic circulation and decrease excess fluid (edema). It utilizes light, slow, rhythmic strokes that stimulates the lymph nodes and lymph vessels. The strokes gently stretch the skin and connective tissue creating a gentle pumping action that increases lymphatic flow.

MLD is often used to help reduce symptoms of lymphedema by moving fluid from an area where the lymphatic system may be compromised due to lymph node dissection or radiation treatment for cancer, to an area with healthy lymphatics.

MLD is also used regularly pre and post surgery to assist the body in the healing process. It reduces edema which reduces pain. I am trained in the Vodder Technique for MLD.
