5 Simple Ways to Create Some Calm in Your Home or Care Facility

August 31, 2020
Are you in the midst of caring for someone important to you?

No matter how you obtained the role of caring for another – you want your person to be comfortable. Am I right?

It takes a special person to be a caregiver. A selfless person. One who puts the care of others in front of their own. It can be very rewarding when you see your person resting comfortably.

I've been there! Here are some things I've tried:
5 simple ways you can create a relaxing space for you and your special person.

Have you ever walked into a room and felt chaos? When someone is ill, calmness is needed… and it can help to simply turn off the noise.

Do you feel calm come over you when you are in a dimly lit room?

A neat and tidy room takes away distractions and allows your paitent to rest.

It’s your responsibility to monitor visitors – especially when your patient is in crisis.

Scents and smells can invoke past memories… good or bad.

Would love to hear about your patient and how one of these suggestions helped.  Please get in touch: susan@progressivemassagetherapy.com.  Wishing you the best!
