Happy New Year! There is something very exciting about a New Year don’t you think? It’s a fresh start and a new beginning.
I often tell myself, “to get a different outcome, you must do things differently”. You can’t keep doing things the same way and expect a different outcome, right?
This year I have decided to do things differently. Instead of putting all of that pressure on myself at once, I will spread it out over the year. Surely I can do any one of these things for a month!!! And who knows, maybe after 30-days of doing it, it will become habit.
The things I tend to run over in my mind as wanting to change are often the same every year. Some examples include:
- Spend more time with family
- Eat better
- Get more exercise
- And on and on
This year, I will add meal planning. I do pretty good for the evening meal but breakfast and lunch seem to be haphazard. So, here I am, putting it out there for the world to see. It will help me stay accountable. Will you help me? Will you join the Challenge?

I don’t have every month figured out, but I can definitely do the Challenge for January and you can too! Gulp, gulp, gulp… Drink more water! My personal goal is 64 oz of water every day. To make it more fun, I got a new Yeti cup for Christmas that is sure to help. There is something exciting about having a “special” cup!
